1. 2. Natural Anti-Mosquito and Horsefly Spray for Horses


  • 250 ml distilled water

  • 250 ml apple cider vinegar

  • 20 drops lavender oil

  • 20 drops tea tree oil

  • 20 drops lemon eucalyptus oil

  • 20 drops lemongrass oil

  • 10 drops neem oil (optional)

  • Spray bottle


  1. Prepare the Ingredients:

    • Ensure that the essential oils are of high quality and suitable for animals.

  1. Mixing the Liquids:

    • Pour 250 ml distilled water into the spray bottle.

    • Add 250 ml apple cider vinegar.

  1. Adding the Oils:

    • Add 20 drops of lavender oil to the bottle.

    • Add 20 drops of tea tree oil.

    • Mix in 20 drops of lemon eucalyptus oil.

    • Dosage: 1g per 10kg body weight of the horse.

  1. Linseed:

    • Dosage: 10g per 100kg body weight of the horse.

    • Example: A 500kg horse receives 50g of linseed daily.


  1. Mixing the Ingredients:

    • Mix the ingredients listed above in the specified amounts.

    • Add them to the horse's daily feed.

  1. Feeding:

    • Feed the horse as usual.

    • Monitor the horse for any allergic reactions or intolerances and adjust the amounts if necessary.

  1. Duration of Feeding:

    • Feed the horse with this supplement for at least 4 weeks to achieve a preventive effect against insects.

    • If well-tolerated and needed, the feeding can be continued indefinitely.
